Is a 20-Minute Cat Sitting Visit Enough?

Oct 13
1 min read

Many cat owners wonder whether a drop-in visit of around 20 to 25 minutes is enough for their cat. For most cats it is, because the visit is spent entirely on your cat.

What happens in a visit

  • Fresh food and water

  • Litter tray cleaning

  • Playtime and cuddles

  • A check that your cat looks happy and healthy

  • A WhatsApp message with photos, and sometimes a short video

One visit or two visits a day?

One visit a day suits many independent, settled cats. Two visits a day work well for cats who like more company, eat more than once a day, or need oral medication at set times. We discuss this at the free meet-and-greet and agree a care plan.

What about cats who need more attention?

If your cat is older, shy or needs closer watching, tell us. We can plan two visits a day, and we follow the routine in your care plan at every visit.

Medication

We can give oral medication. Please tell us at the meet-and-greet so it is part of your care plan.

Costs

One visit a day is from £14 a day and two visits a day is from £24 a day, with no extra charge for school holidays or extra cats.
